The Bioscent unit generates negative ions which are pushed through the scented cartridge and into the targeted area. Like a magnet the negatively charged fragrance is attracted to the positive charge of the violating odors, causing the two to join together. The increase in weight causes the odor to fall to the floor, where it can be cleaned using traditional methods such as mops or vacuum cleaners.
